City Vintage sells new, reproduction, antique and vintage items. The antique and vintage items could be described as ‘used’ or ‘second-hand’ and by nature may have signs of wear associated with their age and use. Although we feel this adds to their charm purchasers should be aware of this when buying.
Items are described as best possible and sizes are approximate. Prices are subject to change. While we will try to update the website quickly, some items may have sold. As many items are individual, we therefore recommend you contact us as soon as possible if there is something you are interested in or come into the shop.
Newgate Clocks look vintage but are in fact new. They come with a 12 month guarantee on the clock mechanism.

City Vintage opening times reflect the fact that the shop is run on a part-time basis. These opening times are subject to change and we hope to extend them in the future.
City Vintage accepts payment in the shop by cheque (covered by cheque guarantee card) and cash in UK sterling. We also accept debit or credit cards subject to a minimum order in the shop of £10 for debit cards and £20 for credit cards. No minimum card transaction applies when shopping on line. We do not accept American Express.
Postage and Delivery
The postage/delivery cost for purchasing online is based on the type of item purchased. Postage is listed for each item individually. If buying multiple items please contact the shop for a postage discount. Postage costs are UK only (excluding Channel Islands). We do not ship overseas due to the high postage costs.
For large items which cannot be posted, the delivery cost of £65 is based on delivery by a man with a van from Edinburgh to anywhere around the M25 area and any location in between (mainland). An additional charge will be made for other areas. Please contact the shop for further information. This charge covers up to six large items and multiple small items. Please note delivery by this method can take up to 2-3 weeks.
City Vintage accepts returns of items broken or damaged within 28 days. Items should be returned to the shop with a note of your original order and name/address. Postage costs will be refunded for broken or damaged goods.
For other returns, the purchase price of the item will be refunded provided it is returned to the shop in its original condition within 14 days. The buyer is responsible for all postage costs.
Returns of items where we offer free postage. If the item is not faulty or damaged a charge will be deducted from the refund for the postage costs.
City Vintage will only hold your personal information for the purpose of processing and delivering your order. We will not use your information for any marketing purposes and will not disclose your information to third parties.
